I remember potty training. I used a chart with various colors of stars to represent "the job" that had been done...gold, red, silver and green. The boys received the green start just for trying. :)
We currently have two families in China on mission who are good friends of ours. One family is with Bible Study Fellowship in Beijing; the other is with the SBC about 3 hours away from there. I am always amazed at how difficult their days are but how joyful they are in what they are doing. You surely know what they are talking about. I hope to go for a while while they are all there, perhaps to visit, perhaps to work ---- maybe both. How wonderful that you were "called" to go with Scarlett:)
Funny pics! We once had some real toilet trouble when one of those trolls with fuzzy, bright pink hair went for a swim in the toilet. Make sure your son gets that lesson in toilet training to save you trouble later on!
I am a stay-at-home mom who loves God and her family. My media-loving husband and I happily spend our days enjoying our kids ("Scarlett," 11, and "Bubba," 3) and watching way too many movies.
I tend to enjoy older movies (hence my name "Classic MaMa") while my amazing husband ("Not-So-Classic Husband") prefers movies that are actually in color.

I meant to invite you to join me at Crock Pot Wednesday on diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com, but I forgot. I do hope you will come for a visit.
